Why are there two sets of brake lines comming off my 1987 Carrera front Calipers? One is obviously the right one to connect the other is forward of the the correct one and goes to what?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) Maybe it was a pad sensor thing. Big wire if I recall. Probably just a pad sensor.
