Why are there two sets of brake lines comming off my 1987 Carrera front Calipers? One is obviously the right one to connect the other is forward of the the correct one and goes to what?

ABS started appearing on Porsche's in 1989-1990 models along with air bags. I have later carrera calipers on my 914 and they only have the one brake line. I would say post a picture or two and I bet we can figure out what is up. Part numbers?
