with the 66mm stroke you can go to 96mm and have a 1911 motor. Nice little engine if you change the valve sizes to 42x36. likes to rev and has pep, but its not a 2056.

Nice little engine if you change the valve sizes to 42x36. likes to rev and has pep, but its not a 2056. great advice, you made me look into it and it has evolved from dropped valve repair to 2056. it really is happening thanks to the help along the way. sir andy really helped us out with the 2.0 bottom end to build. and the 96mm and heads are coming. those will hurt for a while$$$! but in the end worth while. i'll post a pictorial after completion. if all goes well and the parts arrive the build/bbq is tenative for the 22ndish.
