Can you paint Mahle wheels with standard automobive paint and clear coat or do you need to use???

Check Pelican Parts they use to have Wirth (sp) paint and clear coat, in rattle cans. Have you checked into powder coating? I did mine that way and am very happy with the results, i.e. Break dust cleans off with a hose,sirface is harder than paint ,no stone chips. If you want i can send you pictures of mine.
