I remember some mention of a aircooled/ bug/ VW show in North GA last year in September about the same time Grasshopper was putting together the SEC tour. I even remember going to a web site about it. Jake may have mentioned something. Any one have any ideas?

I made the SEC last year and had a great time, but didn't make it to the Sunday Bug show. We had to leave to make the 4 hour drive back to Alabama.
There is a VW show in Birmingham, Alabama next Saturday, August 25th if you are interested. It is probably 3-4 hours away for you. I hope to drive one of my 914's up from Montgomery for the B-ham show. Always a huge turnout and a lot of people drive up and camp out the night before at the Tannehill campground. Here is a link for the B-ham club hosting the event: http://www.centralalvwclub.com/bugblast2007.html Let me know if you decide to go to Tannehill. Rich |
