I'm looking at a '73 that has a 2.0 from a 1975 914. Also, the previous owner had the FI replaced with dual carburetors. From what I've read, this is debatable on whether it was an improvement. But since it was done, are their questions I should ask the present owner about the swap? Other than "how well does it run?"?

Running well to the owner could really be seen as running like crap to the buyer.
Drive it for yourself and see what it is like. the rest of the car needs to be good also. |
