l can't fully recall how it worked.
What I think, electric motor in the base geared to a large steel cable somehow feed inside the center tire, of a 3 tire display. I am looking into the idea of using this type of display at the shop.  |

There were lots of hallucinogens around in the sixties. Lots of people saw weird stuff.
