my dad was a machinist and I've seen machining centers for making really tiny stuff (way under 1/8" diameter) as well as stuff so big, the operator had to ride in a cab along with the tool (shipyard machine shop).

I've seen welding, casting, forging, wire-forming, brazing, etc..

but never spinning..

I'm sure this process is older than dirt, but I'm amazed...
