All I can say is, "what an idiot". I don't even consider this a "real" barnfind. This guy knew what he had, and he let all of these cars basically deteriorate to the point that that they are restoration projects rather than preservation projects. And he is going to want top-dollar for them.

A barn find is when you come across a dusty, but great 356 for sale by an old lady who just wants to get rid of it for $5000.

These are just old, yet significant cars that the owner has neglected and now decides that he wants to cash in. I hope that these cars get the restorations that they deserve, but I don't see them as a barn-find since they were never actually lost, just neglected.

BTW, I would have a real moral dilemna buying a $40,000 car from an old lady for $5000 just because she didn't know what she had.

So, I guess that I don't believe in barn-finds at all. However, I do find these stories intriguing.
