Off topic, I know, but you guys all seem pretty good around a computer. I have a digital camera that shoots short movies - my question is there a way to reduce the file size of these movies to make them easier to send? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)
Thanks- Jason |

yes there is.
get quicktime pro. open your .avi file in quicktime pro and then go to "file" and then "export". under export you should have "blah to quicktime movie" displayed. then click on the "options" button and then "settings" button and change the compression to sorenson video 3 (this is in the first pull down). you can also mute the audio in the conversion for an even smaller file. the sorenson compression will make a huge difference in file size and not lose any quality. |
