Anybody have a list of the lengths and sizes of the vacuum hose on a 1.7. I have seen it some where ,probably the bird ,but it,s down now. When I put the F. .I. back on I want to start with new hoses. Also i need a source for the stock hose clamps. Thanks Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge6.gif) |

Here's what I did:
Went into the engine compartment and with a tape measure made rough measurements. I then went down to the local bug shop and bought the oem style hose for about $1/foot (as opposed to $3/foot P-car prices). You can use this as a guide for which size hose you need: http://www.pelicanparts.com/914/technical_...4_17FI_diag.htm There is also no such thing as stock hose clamps. There are no clamps. They press fit on and the vacuum of the system holds them on just fine. |
