There is an engine for sale in the classifieds..
What is needed besides what is listed? If this requires a long answer from you, Sorry in advance (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) I have a D-jet 2.0L and wouldn't mind a 6 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Cheers Kerry |

my car was built just that way. The PO took a /6 that lost in an accident (don't know how bad) and a "straight" /4 chassis and mated the two. I have every part that I can tell from the /6 except the motor mount. When I bought it, it had a quick six bar. I've since installed a Rich Johnson mount. The oil tank still had a clean Porsche Dealer's sticker, so I assume that wasn't from the original car.
I wish I could find the original chassis. I'm sure it's long since beed a paper weight though. The good part about not having the right VIN is not having to worry so much. |
