Did they make any 6's with the 472 serial #? The reason I ask is I found a 72 on my last road trip that the owners son said it was a 6. They had the block, but no carbs for it, which was out of the car at the time I saw it. But what caused me to ask about this car was it had a upside down U bracket welded on the firewall and this bracket looked like it was factory instaled. None of my cars have this bracket and I wondered if this was a 6 front mount? Is there a factory list that shows they didn't use the 472 cars for 6's?
