Newbie here i race of road buggies and my buggy suposibly has a 914 box but has a VW stamp on it. IS THIS POSSIBLE?? and how can i tell
Also what info is out there regarding this box??

Yes the VW logo is mostly just a foundry mark.
The important number is on the bottom; the serial # is on the lowest rib under the diff section. This helps determine the version: 914/6, 914/4 tailshift, 914/4 sideshift.
