A few wires from a couple of my 74's multi-wire plastic connectors have broken off at the connector and I need to crimp on new connectors. I'm looking for the uninsulated 2.8 mm female push-on type with the tang (barb) on the top that secures it into the plastic connector housing. Can't find them locally and several websites have only without the tang. Anybody know a source??

Volvo dealer usually stock a few of these connectors in the "tackle box" for the techs in the service department; you can also order larger quantities from their parts department. They also have the cool ratchet-type crimping tools for these. You can also get the various plastic connector housings from them. I'll try and post some part numbers later.
