As I am customizing my project car I am going to put better seats in it. I have seen S2000 seats in a teener and they looked good but the owner said it was a tight fit. I see all types of aftermarket seats on ebay in the $300-$500 range after shipping but will they sit too high?
914 seats are very low to the floor and being 5'11" I don't want to look at the windshield frame when I drive. Who else has put something else in a 914 and how do they work? |

I just removed two Classic IIs from my car in favor of the Forzas because my PCA chapter would no longer pass me on tech inspection w/o the pass through for anti-sub belt. I was told I could not modify the lower cushion. My car does not have a back pad. They do sit higher than stock seats, but are quite comfortable. I'm 6'0" and my car has a formulring (sp?) steering wheel that is smaller diameter than stock. I imagine that a stock steering wheel will make for a tight fit with the Classic IIs.
I'll be offering the seats for sale very soon (look for an FS post in the classifieds) in case any of you are interested. |

So let me get this straight... you can't use the seat b/c the sub belt is not close enough to your nuts??? Is this any different than a stock 914 seat.. |
