As I am customizing my project car I am going to put better seats in it. I have seen S2000 seats in a teener and they looked good but the owner said it was a tight fit. I see all types of aftermarket seats on ebay in the $300-$500 range after shipping but will they sit too high?
914 seats are very low to the floor and being 5'11" I don't want to look at the windshield frame when I drive. Who else has put something else in a 914 and how do they work? |

Those intersted in the Corbeau Classic II's should be aware that you can order them with a sub strap hole from the factory. Oh yeah, as a daily driver, the vinyl does not hold up (see the gaffer's tape below) and the color fades pretty quickly, plus the foam in the lumbar region compresses pretty quickly. Once the foam compresses, you can feel a crossbar at the rear that hits me right in the coccyx. Also the seat rails need to be filed out to fit larger bolts that are offset slightly from the stock locations.
