What is the procedure for refinishing the targa top to its original texture/color? I have to do some crack repair and the entire top needs to recoated/painted. Is there some type of paint or is there a gun/nozzle that can apply the texture?
Thanks, Dave |

There are several threads on refinishing and results.
For the DIY options and if the top is faded and not too bad shape.... I used this herculiner TOP COAT applied with a foam roller. It is not the liner material, just the top coat used to re-color their liner when it gets faded. So far (5 mo's) it holding up and is cheap and easy. link (That one bottle is enough to re-coat it 4-5 times) What is the procedure for refinishing the targa top to its original texture/color? I have to do some crack repair and the entire top needs to recoated/painted. Is there some type of paint or is there a gun/nozzle that can apply the texture? Thanks, Dave |
