What is the procedure for refinishing the targa top to its original texture/color? I have to do some crack repair and the entire top needs to recoated/painted. Is there some type of paint or is there a gun/nozzle that can apply the texture?

Here's the official line from Porsche Classic:
Dear Mr. Ziegler, thank you for your request. We would like to inform you that you may use an ordinary paint in order to restore your Targa top.
