Paragon Products
(IMG:http://www.paragon-products.com/photos/P914.4-158HM-2.jpg) I know the Tangerine headers are great and all that but the price is out of reach for most of us teeners. I found these while seaching for a cheaper alternative. They come with stub pipes and the muffler. Hell, if you subtract the cost of the muffler system that puts their entire header at around the cost of Tangerine's stub pipes alone. Yes, I know cost isn't everything but they do look like a nice system. Perhaps a little free market competition could benefit everyone. And Jake says any engine mods are a waste of time without a high-flow exhaust. |

I assume that Jake's 170HP 2056 as of late used a Tangerine Evo...
I am currently in the market for a complete setup and want to buy something appropriate for my current motor as well as the 2270+ once I get tired of the 2.0. My question is, What size pipe diameter would be appropriate for the current carbed, cammed, 2ltr as well as a 2270-2316++ Secondary question, Present motor uses 009 and 1.7 HE's and a Monza which came on the car. Obviously these 3 items need replacement. But would those Items being sucky account for a motor running worse/ being strangled past say 4500 rpm. Umm, Is it worth the 2-3K$ to remedy these problems, or would I get the same boost from 2.0HE's vice a full Tangerine set . I hope that line of "questions" makes some sense. Just trying to keep active whilst I wait to get home. Thanks guys, |
