As I am customizing my project car I am going to put better seats in it. I have seen S2000 seats in a teener and they looked good but the owner said it was a tight fit. I see all types of aftermarket seats on ebay in the $300-$500 range after shipping but will they sit too high?
914 seats are very low to the floor and being 5'11" I don't want to look at the windshield frame when I drive. Who else has put something else in a 914 and how do they work? |

Have you considered using Fiero GT seats? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
They will sit a little higher than stock. Can be bolted to the stock seat rails with a little modificatiion to the seat rail-the bolt holes aare off a little. Very nice leather seatcovers that are DIY are available from Mr. Mikes.com. Some guys put them in Panteras, etc. Phillip Haun in Washington-has the nice blue 914-put them in his car. My $.02. Allen |
