Woo-hoo! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) I finally got my collector plates on my teener!
(IMG:http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk70/jcwellsq8/Porsche%20914/914plate_small.jpg) If I had gotten it done last month, the stickers would have said 9 and 14! Colorado seems to want to make it a maximum hassle for someone who dares to by an older car from out of state. Problems were compounded by the fact that Georgia (where the car's P.O. had it previously registered) does not issue titles to vehicles that are older than 1985. Two months of back-and-forth with the DMV folks (fill out this, go there for that, how come you don't have this, etc.), but I've jumped through all the hoops and now I'm good for five years! Just had to tell somebody... John |
