My 914-4 was rebuilt after a spun crankshaft bearing.
The mechanic reused the connecting rod bolts. One of the bolts broke and destroyed the case. Is it ever accepted practice to re use rod bolts? I have an old Clymer repair handbook that says replace bolts and nuts on the six but only replace the nuts on the four. Bill |
