I read a post by Dave D recently warning about the hazard of not using long lugs with alloys, and I take such warnings seriously, and appreciate hearing them.

However, I just measured how much bolt extends beyond the inside plane of the the standard steel wheel, and the Riviera, and the length is essentially the same. What gives? Do I need long bolts to be safe with Riviera wheels, or not? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)
