Check this out. I dropped the tranny the other night to fix a broken clutch fork (axle broke the end off when it let loose) and I found this inside. I think it was rubbing on the raised edge of the 911 pressure plate I have. I don't know if it was doing it before the accident or not, but I do remember hearing a funny "ringing" noise from the clutch area while the engine was running. Does the fork need to be clearanced for the 911 pressure plate?
