Hi all,
I finally managed to free the ball joint from hell, and I was finally able to get my strut out. After getting the strut out, I was able to pound out the roll pin that is supposed to hold the shock insert in. This is a Bilstein strut, so it isn't supposed to have a big nut on the top. So, I figured that the shock would just slide out, but it ain't moving! What the hell!?! So, am I missing something? Who's done this before, and can give me some direction. Damn 30 year old siezed up parts! I can supply pics, if it would help. |
