Enjoy the dirty pictures.

Pulled off the tin and got the old motor on a bench to see what detonated. Looking at the front right cylinder, it looks like a large silver ring floating on the intake valve...The Valve Seat?? And..lots of oil where that cylinder mates to the case on the outside. The 2 valves on the drivers side had a mess of gooey oil on the stems. The only 'normal' looking valve was the back passenger side. The Cylinders under the tin were covered with rust, cigarette butts, pine needles, a dremmel tool bit, several washers, hose clamp, and the wire from the bellows to the cooling flaps was spliced in 2 sections.

Other than that, it looked like a great coffee table base. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
