So I am planning to disassemble my 73 sideshift trans today. However, my 914 (and 914 shop manual) are at my dads house in Santa Barbara. I found this tech article on 901 transaxle dis-assembly over at pelican:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/9...01_synchros.htm Any opinions on whether or not this should be sufficient instruction? What is different on a sideshift trans from the 911 box used in this article? The San Diego library has a couple of 914 shop manuals, but of course they aren't open on Saturday. Andrew |
