Wow, what a pain-in-the-ass job. I rebuilt my front brakes (914 brakes with spacers for vented rotors) in about 3 hours start to finish...went pretty smooth. HOWEVER, rebuilding the rear brakes is a major pain (also spaced for rear vented rotors). The outboard adjuster nut wasn't too bad to get out but the inboard adjuster nut was horrible. That inner spring clip is really hard to get out and even harder to get back in. Had to make a compression contraption with spacers and a c-clamp thin enough to get two small screwdrivers in there to compress the c-clip for installation. All told it took about 5 hours to do 1 brake caliper! Tomorrow I'll finish the last rear caliper....put all the brakes back on...bleed and see if I have any leaks!
