After removing the sail panel vinyl and aluminum trim pieces I am considering grinding off the lip that holds on the aluminum behind the sail panel. Has anyone else done this? I am not crazy about the vinyl or the aluminum and instead of powder coated them black, I would rather delete them. But, that leaves me with that lip that is normally hidden behind the aluminum trim.
If anyone has done this, can you please attach pics?
