I've been battling a rotator cuff injury for the past 6 weeks and it's finally getting to where I can finally do a little more with the cars. I decided to pull the rockers on the '76 to see what I was facing. I'm pretty sure neither rocker has been pulled since new.
Imagine my surprise to see solid longs and jack points! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) The west coasters probably won't appreciate it; however, after all the long and hell hole rust in my green car (see the scottyb thread on my car) I am excited to see this on a project car! There is a lot of dirt on them (these pictures are right after pulling the rockers); but, the screwdriver test shows them to be solid. There is still rust in the rear passenger floor and a few spots here and there. Overall, it's less than I expected.
