Hi all. First post. I recently purchased a 72 1.7 in Oregon and I am driving it to Los Angeles in 2 weeks. I reside in Boston and this is my first 914. My question involves the size of the two luggage compartments. I need to be sure of the size so I don't find myself with luggage on my lap because I used too large cases!
If anyone has the dimensions of the compartments (height being important with the targa stowed) it would be helpful. Any other tips would be great as well. I am a long time Porsche owner (356 & 911) and am familiar with basics like valve adjustments, fuel lines, and electrical cleanliness. Any 914 specific items you would recommend that should be checked would be great. Thanks! Lou |
