On my 1.7, I remember hearing somewhere it was like 5 quarts , but after filing a entire gallon, the dipstick is way above the full mark, maybe around 1/2". Lesson learned, man I better check it for myself, pulled the Haynes manual and it is 3.5L (w/filter change) which is 3.7 quart. So i am .3 quart over. Is this bad ?? The engine was drained.

What is the general thought, drain the extra .3 quart or is it ok to leave it ?
