I decided to take my son and visit the Techno Classica in Essen, http://www.siha.de/tce_uk.php?m=1&ms=1
A quick 650 mile round trip, easy by A6 TDI, anyway took lots of pictures but here is some Porsche content. The yellow 914-6 which was a resto using NOS parts sold for 146,000 Euro, a nice porsche Diesel, and some other period stuff. Interesting to see that Porsche Classic is reproducing the steering coupler. There seemed to be endless 911 specialists everywhere and for some reason everybody seems to have an unhealthy obsession with Steve Mcqueen, FFS, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) in fact a 911 2.2s which supposedly belonged to him sold for 1.2 million Euro madness Enjoy ...
