I'm now trying to fine tune my 1.7 Djet and needing to clarify a thing or 2. I have read the stuff from pbanders (Thanks for putting this info out there) time and time again, and also the stuff from Kjell Nelin (Thanks to you also). I can not drive my 914 yet so I know that I cant fully tune it yet. But, in all of the reading, do I really need to worry too much about the AAR and the decel valve ?? I sprayed my AAR down with penetrating oil before I mounted it, and it is frozen up again already. If the AAR and decel valve arent really needed, I would rather just eliminate them. I dont have to worry about passing smog because we dont test here, and I can live with some popping and cold warm up issues. I just need some input before I ditch them. Thanks in advance !!
