Hey Jake
I know most folks don't install CHT gauges, but I have. Must be from my airplane days where it is important to know CHT and EGT temps. Maybe it's overkill, but since I have the gauges installed I know that I am running significantly hotter on #'s 3 & 4 than 1 & 2. (Probably 60 to 70 degrees hotter) I understand that that is fairly normal in type 4 engines, but I was wondering what your highest readings are on your monster 2270 engines? If anyone else is running CHT gauges on their 2270, please feel free to chime in. Thanks |
