I have owned various 356s through the years and a '69 912. Just the smell of a Porsche is heavenly to me. When I bought my '73 project 914 in early March of this year, I had no idea how it would all come rushing back. Driving it, working on it, developing a game plan for improvements and modification. Wow, I'm freaking hooked, (again.)
For those of you who missed this, it is very cool half hour video about one man's passion for Porsches. It explains some of the same feelings about Porsches I've had since my Dad's cousin drove into the backyard of my grandparents estate in Pasadena in an Ivory '65 912. As an 8 year old boy at the time, I had never seen anything so beautiful. I might have to let my hair grow a bit. Magnus Walker - http://vimeo.com/44410797 |
