I took the trim pieces that hold the front main Targa seal to the inside of the door frame (in front of the triangle window) off of one car to clean and repurpose in another with a new 914Rubber Targa Seal. There seemed to be a black, gooey, sticky something that apparently seals behind the trim to the sheet metal.
Sorry for the lack of pictures, but does anybody know what I should use to reseal it?
