I had the pleasure of going to Amelia Island this year and have a ton of pics of the cars that were there. They cycle through my desktop backgrounds. Anyway, today this shot rolled by and I noticed the additional box section along the floor in passenger footwell.

This particular picture is of #2 which was part of the 1-2-3 nurburgring finish

Anyway, just curious if the GT experts knew what this was about, was this added to strengthen the chassis?
