okay todays progress
1: made new shifter bar, the reason i made a new one was i tried to bend the stock one to many times, basicly needed the bends in it to be 90 degres from where they where. instead of just cutting and rewelding i tried to bend it. had to make a new one. 2: finished modifing the exhaust manifold and welded on 2 stub pipes, to make the header. and welded 2 o2 sensor bungs into header. tommarrows plans are hook up the following clutch cable, throttle cable, speedo cable, install shifter bar, hook up cv joints, and fill tranny then i need to straighten the garage so the car can come out to play still need to bolt in alt, hook up alt, tape up harness, hook up reverse lights, finish bolting in the radiator and make the scoop for the radiator, and finish exhaust ( still need muffler or maybe not (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/happy11.gif) ) so i am thinking that it might be moving under its own power on thursday, not road ready yet but around the storage lot. edit : pics after the cables are hooked up |
