(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i2.photobucket.com-17027-1455769622.2.jpg) I was in third, accelerated hard and pop. Pulled the tranny and found a lot of metal debris. I have Dr Evil's rebuild DVD so I'm going to tear it down completely tomorrow and see how extensive the damage is. Looking through the side shift console mount hole at least two of the gears have completely chewed each other's teeth off. Anyone have any experience of what would cause this? And what other damage I should be looking for? Is there a point of no return where it makes more financial sense to buy another used 901 rather than try to rebuild it? Just trying to figure out what my options are. |
