are there any differences between the aircooled.net piston rings for a type 4 1.7($30) and the pelican rings for $59? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) one order would simplify my life

I plan to replace the stock cyliner spacers(only found these at aircooled.net) too, but I'm unsure the stock 1.7 thickness to select (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) also, is there a sealant used here? which one is recommended?

also, is there a gasket/shim at the top that I need to get? anything else I'm forgetting? I plan to replace the rings when I swap the heads as well(just for good measure)... and since I'll have the engine out/heads off I will put a CHT gauge in as well...

what else? I want to do this right, but quick so it CAN be driven july 4th weekend to my parents(at least that's the plan today) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) it may all change tomorow.
