OK, As some of you may be aware, I have been looking for a DZ302 crankshaft for quite a while.... It is a 3.00 short stroke crank(HIGH REVS)
The people who are buying these cranks are paying a premium, to build #'s correct motors for the 69 Z28 crowd... Well, last night I stumbled upon some NasCar 3.26 cranks. Mind you, the stroke is very close to a 327, but the guys that have been using these seem to be using flat top pistons, and 6.20 rods, instead of 5.7, and high compression pistons... Does anybody on the board know anything about these cranks and motors...? Jimmy? BigKat? PS I am looking to build a short stroke, small bore, high RPM motor... Not a torque monster...
