I need some help from the group before we go too much further right now.

When I bought my car, it had a V8 conversion in it. The radiator hose was only 1" throughout the car. Temps ran just fine.

I'm converting it to a Subie EJ20, and I went with the same size hose throughout the car. I'm using a dual-pass all aluminum radiator and silicone hose. Its fittings are 1.5" on the radiator and the engine, which isn't a problem, as we can adapt it to 1". But before the work is done, Scott sent me an email asking if I'm SURE that 1" is OK.

I was thinking that the V8 as a much bigger displacement engine, and the radiator wasn't as nice. So with a smaller engine and better radiator, that 1" would be fine. Someone at some point told me that 1" would be fine...but I just want to be sure.

Can I get some second/third/fourth opinions?

Thanks guys.
