I've been lurking through some old threads where people have claimed to use a GM style 3-wire internally regulated alternator in place of a factory Bosch still unit. I am hoping to do the same thing.
Can anyone that has successfully done this conversion share some pics or part numbers for an alternator that might work? I realize there may be some custom bracket fabrication involved. I am looking for a way to add some amperage, remove the external regulator, and not break the bank. Thanks |
