I have 914-6 conversion with a 2.2E engine. I currently have the oil temperature gauge that is integrated into the fuel gauge out of a ’75 914.

My problem is that I don’t know what oil temperature sensor to use with this gauge. My current sensor is reading way higher than what the actual oil temperature is. Would an oil temperature sensor out of a 914-4 work in a 911 engine?
