I have a set of steelie racing wheels that are 15 X 7 with a 128mm Backspace (5.0 inch)
Or positive 39mm offset. They look custom made on DOT 15X7 steel hoops. They seem to fit my narrow body car pretty good with Hoosier SM7s. I use a couple if spacers 3/8 or 1/2 but I get no rubbing with rolled fenders. The problem is that I cannot find another set of these wheels for a spare or rain set. Diamond racing makes 15X7 but only up to a 4 inch backspace. Does anyone know where to get some steel 15X7 wheels with 5 inch backspace? Or even hoops that are exactly 15X7? I am about to breakdown and build a rotary table so I can make my own. Desparate Stu |
