Ok so I know we have a zillion threads about tires, sizes rims etc but this has a slight variation to it

as some may already know, my car is in shop getting rest of body work done had rear fenders massaged and stretched a bit and still my 7" rims with 205/55 are very tight - so I am wanting the fairly wide tread but not out that far, I have a set of 16"x6" on front and those are fine, and I have another set of 6" fuchs to put on the rear - 16"x6" on rear have lots of room with the 205, and so I am considering trying the 225/50 16 on the 6" rims on rear -

My question is- has anyone on a narrow body car run Falkin RT615K , 225/50 on a 6" rim on the rear and how did they fit, and what about the front??

if I take the Bridgestone Potenza Ar-11 off(now discontinued) and sell, my problem will be Falkin does not make a 205/55 or 205/50 in this tire, - so if the 225/50 don't fit on the front(I think they will, my7" rims fit no rubbing with spacer, 6''same)- I would have to run a different tire or brand- so some uncharted waters here -

- Narrow body with some slight fender stretching and lip-o section(pun intended) running 6" Fuchs 16 rims and a 225 tire - rear and front- any experience with this set up ??

Thanks,

Phil
