So one 914 is among the twelve Porsches entered this year, and wondering if its driver Chris Strauch is a member here? He's running a pretty wild 914 with V8 power.
http://ppihc.org/wp-content/uploads/2020-P...etitor-List.pdf Meanwhile, Porsches swept 1-2-3 in qualifying for Time Attack 1 as well as 1-2 overall—ahead of the purpose-built open-wheelers. That's a big deal for 3000+ pound (easily), production 911-based race cars. And one of the three is 100% factory. Should be an epic battle between Pikes Peak Hall of Fame drivers David Donner and Jeff Zwart as they try to beat pole-sitter David Donohue (yes, the son of that Donohue, and a Daytona and Le Mans winner in his own right besides being a super nice guy). Free live stream coverage with John Hindhaugh starts at 7:30am Mountain Standard Time on Mobil 1's Facebook page as well as Pikes Peak International Hill Climb's YouTube channel.
