Just thought I would pass this along. Today I was checking on the CV joints I was going to use on the full floating axles. I am using 911SC hubs, stub axles and 915 transmission flanges. The whole set up is 100mm 6 bolt. 944 CV conversion is over in the classic section. So, I got the joints out to compare, both are Lobro and have the same part number BUT they are different thickness. The LATE 944 are 34mm thick and the OLD (1978) Bus CV's are 32. Make sure all 4 of your CV's are the same thickness IF you are cutting your stock axles to to 944 conversion. NO problem if you are using floating axles.
